Can VLC read ALL .. and i mean ALL video formats?
Would be nice to use one program instead of ALL the ones in the megapack ..

I like ZoomPlayer, it plays all kinds of video formats out there.
These are the codecs I use with ZoomPlayer:
-
DefilerPak: FFDShow with optional components for .ogm, matroska video files, subtitles, and a couple of more things. (No bloat, uninstalls cleanly)
-
Real Alternative: Just the codecs to play real media files.
-
QuickTime Alternative: Codecs for quicktime files.
- MPEG2 Codec: To play SVCD's, have to have WinDVD, PowerDVD or similar installed.
This should let you play anything. I know there are some standalone MPEG2 codecs out there, but these are usually mediocre or cause problems with other codecs, so im just sticking with WinDVD myself.
