Alright well i decided to re write this post incase it didnt come out right the 1st time...

First off the site is under construction at the moment but the url will be www.ravenxarts.com

Anyway I'm will soon be opening a new hobby comic strip/comic/Art site at the url www.ravenxarts.com and I'm looking for 5 people that have good drawing & or Graphics Skills or even 3D art skills that wanna join in on this as a side hobby thing and get there stuff posted up etc like if you had a comic idea and or made lil funny comic strips about whatever and dont already have a site you post on well here's your chance.

the people I'm looking for should have skills in the ball park of the following pictures i'm posting (which i did not draw i just grab'd em off the net and full credit goes to the fine artists which created them)

All the above i consider very good and well done work and if your within that range or even below it but above the picture below this one still send your work and if i consider it good stuff and still got room then you in

i suggest you dont bother e-mailing me any of your work unless your
a really good story writer for comic strips or have good ideas but just cant
draw

because if you cant do either i suggust you cut off your hands now and have someone feed them to a pig as to save the worlds vision from your "art" work.

now i dont want to see work of this lvl as i think my pet ferrets could prob do better and infact i know they can

well when i get back from the office today or morrow at latest i'll have a few moments to put into inking some of my work

and also the above standerd is not very demanding i mean basicly its just a lil more effort into the mid range artist since the process is basicly

sketch.... transfer to clean outline scan clean up final touchs then ink and done

not counting adding backgrounds assuming you do like me and draw backgrounds and chars apart allowing you to overlay but anyway

but i dont mind putting up some of my own work

well um i didnt think any of the above posted examples where considerd

"pedophile pervert" images and considering i left it open to any form/style of drawing and not just anime i dont see what the problem is

infact i got a nice e-mail with a story someone wrote that was very well done and i've decided to offer them a place on site to show off there writing skills

so thats 4 places open assuming of course they decide to accept.

you know i think the problem most people get when attempting to draw is that they assume its hard or that they suck

now yes i've seen a few people who have made stick men and consider that there great art but

some people who say they suck land up not being that bad
drawing is like playing music some people are pretty good right off

but most need to work on it till they get better hehe

besides alot of people that assume they suck look at completed works and dont see it broken down to the way its normaly done

i mean the color'd images i put up consist of a few stages the lineart then coloring then shading

when u look at the basic line art and keep in mind that if your applying color its really very eazy its most people that "suck" land up being pretty good

oh well just my thoughts heh

I can draw some with pencil and stuff, but not quite good yet with comps, just took up infographics studies this year heh, so i guess itll come soon enough.
made some new drawings too which are imo better than this one in a lot of ways, but i need to get my inet up at my new place before i can post em.
Dunno if id be any good helping out, but i do tend to have a lot of ideas, even hough they are quite disturbing most of the time heh.
