im thinkin about buying a little kid, does that count as a pet, show enough emotion? How do you know if it shows emotion, does it have to have eyebrows or somethin? im still confused as to what kind of animal you are refering to that has so much emotion?

I don't mind spiders, scorpions or other exotic pets, aslong as I don't have to hold them.
A pet that shows emotion... That's a hard one... No doubt every animal has emotions of some kind, but I think people are talking about emotions they can relate to (like a dogs joy or a cat purring of pleasure).
But to each his own :)

Cats ftw

dogs are cool, but dumb.

Spiders are just freaky, all spiders should be exterminated.

Watching Snakes, spiders etc fighting fr00bz like mice and rats is not fun.

Now if you got rid of spiders, and other animals which pray on smaller more pesky creatures like rats, roaches, termites things would be alot worse for everyone. Just like if you killed buzzards or other dead animal eater you would have dead stuff everywhere, what a great world.

So just because you don't like it or think its creepy, doesn't mean it doesn't serve a purpose in nature.

I do believe they are my pets, but i still consider it to be a hobby, my favorite part of my hobby is making a place for them to be "happy" in.

Yea no doubt, not trying to say they dont belong in the food chain, just saying watching it for fun isnt really my kinda thing. I have friends who feed mice to there snakes and get enjoyment from watching it, like "hahaha Owned" kinda enjoyment.

Each to his own, they just freak me out lol.

Saying all spiders should be exterminated was a bit of a naive comment on my behalf, didnt actually mean that, just trying to say i find em creepy lol.

Yeah i don't like all bugs, i just think spiders are cool. Roaches for instance creep me out more than anything, they are just disgusting imo.

i wanted to whipe my face with a towel today, i was pretty surprised seeing a hudge roach on it, it was almost on my face.
no need to mention that i tortured the stupid roach for almost giving me a heart attack.
