Chuck Norris was a ginger haired kid.  He was bullied every day and took up martial arts as a way to boost his self confidence.

He is still softly spoken and has never really gotten over being tortured about his physical appearence as a child.

He doesn't kick any amounts of ass, he almost filed for bankrupcy in 1998, is twice divorced and the main source of income nowadays is the convention circuit and fitness commercials with 'fat supermodel' Christy Brinkly, who has her own set of problems.

Stephen Segal on the other hand...

Stephen Segal was working out and dropped one of his barbells, which caused the tsunami in Indonesia.
