Lost Eden Updates

The Lost Eden expansion is now being tested internally by our Quality assurance (QA) team, and we will soon be starting external closed beta testing.

This means that members of the community will be invited to participate in the beta. With this in mind we'd like to ask all players to ensure that the email address associated with their play account is up to date.

Sometime over the next few weeks we will announce the start of these external beta stages and start to send out invitations to the beta process to selected subscribers.

So make sure those email addresses are up to date and keep your eyes out for the announcement soon!

I hope they make the PvP easier & I hope there aren't tons of crap buff begging to do. That's probably my biggest gripe with AO pvp...too much buff begging. Also a dedicated PvP area where you can go an gather & then when you are ready you can click "enter battle" to go into an arena or PvP zone. As i'm getting more into PvP in Guild Wars, I'm really liking the ease of doing PvP. The community is a bit lacking in GW tho....

I'm considering ordering the LE...it's $29.99....not going to break the bank here....and maybe it will be enough motivation to suck me back in for a while....maybe I'll get 220 after all....heck if it keeps me in to play it for a weekend or two it will pay for itself...and since i'm on the fence about my AO as it is...i'm already keeping the account live in case I have the urge to log on.

Just looked thru the pics.....well, the game play better be great because I didn't see anything very exciting. I saw a lot of what appear to be ideas from movies & stuff...one pic reminds me of a D&D Beholder beast...a big floating eye...another screenie was a rip off of the human 'batteries' in the matrix...the whole mechs...Mechwarrior rip...just make AO2 or something geez...a new graphics engine is what is needed.
