It's been a long time since i played AO man, not really sure when i last did. I am more of a console gamer these days, waiting for a special mmorpg to catch my eye, roll on AO2.

I played wow since beta until 3 months ago... but 2 months after each content-patch it becomes boring. I might restart with shortly before WotLK, if i fail to get a job by then :p

AO2 sounds sexy, but is there official word that funcom is working on it? I thought they put everything on AoC, which is going to be quite a succes (compared to AO at least). In Germany it is the most hyped MMORPG after Warhammer Online.
But funcom totally lost all faith they had when they created the wonderfull AO, but failed to improve it.

I was into WoW for a while, after the drama with zeal i found a pretty cool guild of south africans to play with, but after years of playing mmorpg's it never truely hit home to me how pointless it all felt.

Everything seemed to be on track, i was having fun, i was gearing myself up with a few phats, then when it became "oh yea, those phats are nice you have from MC, but they are just required phats so you can kill the newer guys to get the next phats", well i guess i decided that wow was the biggest waste of time i had ever spent, after we did our first rag kill i logged off and left the game and to be perfectly honest, dont miss it at all.

I guess the fun experience i had with storm in AO will never be repeated again, aww what a shame.

good to see you guys alive an kicking.

WoW is like a pretty ex, it's good eye candy but after awhile you figure out that there is nothing new and the shit becomes trite. the PvP system regardless of what type of server you are on is fucking carebear bullshit. you can only gain in WoW and never get penalized for sucking as long as you can put time into the game.

Storm is still the best guild i have been in and i always hope that i will find something along the lines of it but i know it is a fruitless pursuit.

Yea i know, but all of a sudden i was uncertain if fatty was there aswell, did you join that dakor guild btw? It's all so long ago, I only remember things vaguely.
I know i was left behind cause of their cocksucker GM.
Anyway i played on Euro servers after that and was in full T4 when i sold my account. Sometimes i regret it :p
But when that happens i just have to think how boring and repeating everything is after the new content is consumed. The guild i was in really cool though, reminded me of storm.

No, I've quit playing WoW for good, WoW got boring and the expansion pack promises just more of the same pretty much.

All the guilds suck too, I miss Storm

Need a new game, I tried out Tabula Rasa, but that blew. Think I gonna try out Age of Conan, it looks promising and hopefully Funcom will deliver.

Hey PB good to see ya. i think you have the best avatar on the forums. i refuse to play any mmo game that has restrictions on pvp. That pretty much rules out everything. theres a game in development called "darkfall" that fits the description im looking for, but its not even in beta so i have nothing to do except smack my head against a wall and troll.

i remember smackin quite a few peeps with you bro and ya all the major record labels are evil. Im glad they are hurting.
