I'm in Tempest, does that count as Stormer or non-Stormer? :p

And Gunnandahalf is kewl, he helped me with my ql 50ish imp set back when I was a newbie at lvl 30

As for Wolfe, don't know him but I'm sure he's kewl too.

Pretty much like any other guild.

All have its best apples and a few bad.

I knew most of you guys from Tara.
Those i liked.

Was leveling last week on my main and teamed with an NT female, who for some reason, (maybe to much guild chat going on) never gave me HE although i asked for it several times, i finally got it about 30% in to the mission. She also never really said anything in team chat. She did great mind you, this was lvl 180+. But just didnt come across as friendly, when you dont say anything, and dont give buffs in first room.

I dont think its indicitive of the guild....
You guys do camp and get the uber loot. Cant blame you there.
Would like to see more of you respond in NWchat.

Is tara Storm only now? Will you let other clanners join you and have a fair chance at loot the way tarabot worked?

Just would like to see a fair representation of Storm to defend other clan towers.

Ya know when the omni horde is rolling thru CAV DAV, your guild could make the difference in helping us stop them, and send them packing.

I think everyone is scared to attack Storm so they hit everyone else.

There's not really an option suitable for my opinion

I like Storm, and tend to think I have good relations with just about everyone in the guild who I associate with or have chatted with. I admire the guild for many reasons, namely for their ability to work together and, from an outsider's perspective, be very well organized in most everything that they do.

I envy that, actually, as I see my guild unable to perform to the high standards Storm sets for much of the high level content. The guild members have a large amount of perseverence and patience.

The things that bother me about Storm are some of the egos. Not all members, but some. Granted, most can back it up! But egos are something that's always turned me off.

I think a large amount of the negativity given to Storm is generated from tidal waves of jealousy. Even on my own org chat, I will see people say "fucking Stormers, another asshole just ran past me in notum tank." I quickly smack them down for making such a stupid and immature snap judgement, but that's just one example of the way many people in AO feel jealousy towards those who are more fortunate than they are. It's sad that people can't see through the "cool loot" and see what kinds of people the members truly are -- simply nice people.

This was probably far too serious of a reply than you were expecting creating this poll, based on the options given to respond with. But, I figured I'd be serious little me for a few minutes

Being such a large guild, its hard to moblize our troops to a certain spot as quickly as we'd like to. Over half online are in missions, others in uniques, etc... but we have been participating a great deal. Perhaps the reason that we're so large, many expect us to be the bulk of the force. No, Tara is not Storm only. I think Lost Chapter would have to disagree on this one. They've been doing an exceptional job on raids lately. As far as Tara, it is Free For All now. Whichever guild kills the dragon, gets it for themselves, and themselves only. Tarabot started off with "fair" intentions, but quickly grew to nothing more than a welfare line, at nobodies fault really. It was bound to happen that people would take advantage of the system; go afk in the box room, enter raffles within missions or other zones, etc... Tarabot towards the end of its existance rewarded those who did little or nothing, and those that did not have the power to kill it in the first place. The current FFA rules are extremely fair, you kill it, you get it. And contrary to what some people believe, you dont need 50 clanners there. 1 KT can do it. So this perception that Storm owns it, isn't entirely true.

And Sheffy, always a pleasure to have some input from you. You have great respect from those of us in Storm.

o_O that was sweetly put, great that some of the clanners out there sees through the loot and sees the friendly ppl behind...Storm is for me like one big family, a family can have rotten apples and fights but in the end we stick together in all we do, and we are in trouble or in need of help u can always count on a Stormer being there to help u out...
I think it was Tort who described Storm best ever saying how RK was nolonger divided into 3 fractions but 4, clan, omni, neutral and Storm..

This may have been me - Skyn - ,& yes, I do look at the keyboard when I type, & even then it's not very fast!

so your guess about the Guild Chat may have been partially true, but why label me or my Guild as un-friendly? I kinda really resent that weak example!(if it was,in fact, me) I apologize my typing skills hamper my social appearance in game, but my attention is usually otherwise occupied inside a mission...anyway, U got your buff after all, & no harm, no foul, right?...maybe not

absolutly no harm... no foul. No reread what i wrote... I have liked everyone i knew... granted most all of them where from tara.

I cant imagine guild chat for storm. it has got to be a flood.

LOL. . no, that was the only thing remotely "bad" I could come up with or have ever run into.... which should tell you that your guild is very good indeed..

E.g. What your worst experience with Storm? umm, one time this NT didnt give my 180ish MA HE in the first room.. lol.

Did not label guild as unfriendly.. quite the contrary...

and now, with my alts Stormers has alway been very friendly with buffs indeed!

Well I think Sheefy said this perfectly. I've never had a problem with Storm members and would have to agree with Sheffy 100%.

PS: On a serious note. I have been having nightmares about Piercingevil's face lately and think someone should pitch in for a facelift or something to save some of us from the Horror!

I think Sheffy said it best there, I speak to Wolfe in tells about music, (both musicians) I've been in teams with plenty of stormers, I went on two tower battles with them today, and it was quite honestley great fun well organised and disiplined.

When I do hear people bitching I tend to say two things, " they are huh?, and how many have you met or teamed with?" (generaly the answers are ,"well none.... but the point was...yadda yadda" you get the picture)
then I'll politley remind them it's usually best to form their own opinion based in facts and experiences, not in hear-say.

I'm not about to name any children my wife and I may have "storm" in the future, but I still think clan "Storm" keeps all clan strong, now what's wrong with that?
