Deacon, I don't need to resort to profanity to make an argument, and in no way did I say you should be banned or kicked from AO because of what you did. I don't want the nano (s) as I don't have a MP, and as Hajk can attest, what goes on in SL isn't a big concern to me.

I made my post because you have Storm members here calling for Meister's head, have his "for sale" post on your main page with the "exploiter" and you make this lengthy post about how nice MPs are in SL on FC's forums:

All your screenshot you posted proves is that you knew something was fishy about those nanos.

Has nothing to do with not taking responsiblity. Persnoal responsiblity is paramount to any sucessful society. Incorrect. It _IS_ between the players at large, and not just FC to decide.

Why? Because in the doing if it gets done or not done and no player has a say about their feelings on it, FC will consider it viable and that creates a precedent. And anyone with half a clue knows once a precedent is set, it is a perpetual uphill battle to change that, since the focus will eventually come back to being, "You didn't complain before, why complain now?"

In the case of Meister if the players were not to cause grief now, this could happen again, and again, and again with FC being the source and some other individual being the tool as Meister is now, and FC would simply brush off the playerbase by saying "Stuff it please...you didn't complain or raise any issues the first time it happened..."

Therefore as I started this with, incorrect.

Mitigating circumstances? Let me tell you about 'circumstances'. A) Meister could have done his review by checking Test server. B) Meister could have done it on live, with a GM chaperone. The fact neither happened is indicative of the fact that FC allowed this to happen, and Meister abused that trust by thinking he could make some extra cash while he was doing the 'review'. Nevermind the fact he couldn't have any competition because no one else could get there. And that in itself is what has caused such a outcry.

In RL Hatchet you are correct, there is no such thing as black and white.

In a MMORPG, you're completely off base. It is either legal, or not legal, and steps should be taken either way. Meister's foolishness was clearly -not- legal, and those prerogative steps have not been taken.

speculation does not count as proof. as Thedeacon has said in his post, he thought the thing was legit due to Meister's connection with GMs. Who would have thought Meister was a foolish enough to exploit the gifts given to him.

Deacon doesnt have anyone calling for his head and doesnt have the main page topic being of Meister.

In fact, Deacon has posted several times how he doesnt agree with these threads. Also stating how eventhough we are all apart of one big guild, we are going to have different views. Caleena being an admin and current poster of Storm news created the front page listing and the original Meister thread, making her opinion known.

Adressing your flames directly at Deacon as if he was the instigator of everything makes me wonder if you read half the replies on the threads-- like those of us who do not condone the actions of those who bought his goods, and those of us who stated that while Deacon is a member our guild, not everyone will agree with things he says-- same thing goes for any other member. Also quickly picking away at his posts due to language while simultaneously saying deacon rides the short bus in a diaper... ::cough:: anyway...

Meister knew what he was doing. He should at the very least been put on temp ban. He knew he was abusing his good will with his FC gm buttbuddy. So he steps down from his shitty website. WHooPtiE FriG'N Doodoo.

Funcom admited their fault, discontinued any association with Meister (at least publically, I'm sure he still has his buttbuddies). Temp ban would have been a nail in the coffin. Why you may ask? Because ITS NOT THE FIRST TIME HE'S PULLED SHIT LIKE THIS! And ONLY reason he stepped down and Funcom took any actions was because Storm protested it. Its was instantly removed from the forums, and was about to become another urban legend, brushed under the carpet.

Dude. I'd be glad to listen more to what you had to say if you pointed your 'facts' at the right people. Feel free to attempt to criticize Caleena for making the front page news about Meister or Hell, flame me for posting right now. Time for me to say something again?

I think that everyone who bought and is using the nanos that were purchased from meister knowing that there had to be a dubious method obtaining them are equally as guilty as Meister himself.

I personaly adore Deackyweaky, however in this case I beleive that he should 'unload' or not use the nanos until someone has legitamatley gotten access to the area.
