I have done a couple of Ring quests that I didn't have to now but wth, how can this be worse than having 3 items(NoDrop) ninjalooted by Omni punks? I like it.

But it will make most people (including me who is one piece away from his +5 ring) be like "awesome. maybe now more ppl will come up here and pwn with meh"

It is a good deal whether you already suffered through hell to get the rings or not.

Yeah, I just went today and got my adonis ring, and ergo tossed me a metawater suit at the same time, easy. I dunno how the hell someone is gonna get through adonis to ergo at 160 though, that's suicide.

Kudos to FC for listening to people. I'm very depressed that I went through EVERY SINGLE QUEST except pen glasses only to find that everything is given to you for free now. It is very selfish of me to feel that way. "I had to do boring quests so all my friends should have to also!" I'm glad FC fixed the time sinks. That was my biggest problem with SL.

I'm on a little break right now anyhow until I get caught up with schoolwork. Can somebody please tell me if they get their pen glasses for free now? I still have to do that quest cuz i only have one part of it, but if I got it for free I will be ecstatic

I'm trying to look at this like "Great, now more people will come up and not have to do time sinking quests!" instead of "FUCK!! I GOT SCREWED!! Everybody ELSE should have to do the quests TOO!"

It sucks for everybody who already did them, but is GREAT for those with lvl 200 alts.

This may get more ppl into SL now!

I only had to do the Scheol Quest, everything else I met the lvl req for. Scheol was easy tho, especially with Shadow Trail, I still had 1k+ runspeed in SL

Well, i might just return. This has made me really happy. And those who already went through the trouble shouldn't feel too terribly bad about it. You did get a head start leveling against lazy asses like me, who didn't even try.

Thank god i dont have to bother with those rediculous quests.

This is great news for me- I've been getting mighty stressed over soloing catch-up to be able to progress beyond lvl 200. Now when someone says "wtb SK / Faction team" I can volunteer.

Oh man that is good news. One of the things i reeeeeally hated in sl is getting that damn penum ring to get the faction ... to get the sk .

to those like me who didn't do any camping and stuff like that, this patch seems to ease out some of the burden i might encounter when i need to SK; however, to those who did the quests, it is pretty unfair. This patch really reminds me when i played EQ, when SOE open up those tier 2 and tier 3 zone to certain levels, i said to myself "i didn't sleep/eat/work/ in order to get flagged into the zone and now no need to get flag!" however, SOE do make some compensation(or consolation in a sense

), they gave us some more AA points depending on how many flags you have; hence to be fair, i hope FC can do that as well, may be giving free SK to those who completed the quests

I've got mixed feelings. I'm pissed that I had to do work that nobody else has to do now, but i'm happy that more people are playing again and that my friends can get to penumbra with me with no work. I'm trying to keep it in a good light. Now there will be more people to faction and SK with and possible fewer of my friends quitting. Overall for the sake of AO this was a wonderful decision.

I wish I had been as fed up with SL earlier. I spent 12 hours getting parts for my pen ring :/ The good thing is that I got my pen shades for free.

It's one of the best patch ever made by FC I'd say.
