Oh I've been meaning to do this for a long, long, long time.

While it's absolutely wrong to do so, I've held this secret grudge against the gamer called "Fatal1ty".  And it's ironic, as my ego was once nearly as large as his.

A while back, he wore some kind of American flag "cape" to a tournament and from what I heard, was a complete ass.

So during a moderated IRC chat last year, I had jokingly asked him about the cape and not only did he make a really crappy comment to me being a noob, followed by a statement of how great he was, but he also had me booted from the chat.  My question was something like "If I ever beat you in an online game, can I get your cape? :P"

I want his fucking cape, excuse my language.

I thought this guy was a fake until the end.  We rarely ran into each other during the first match and when we did, I was starting to believe that he was the real deal.  His aim with the shock rifle and lightning gun was FREAKISHLY good.  If it wasn't for the quarter second pause, I would have thought he was a fake using an aimbot.  He had outstanding aim, but an outdoor map like Torlan relies more on strategy and proper dodging, neither of which are used in Quake 3.

The sad thing is, he's not what I was expecting at all.  When I saw him switch from my team to the other team at the start of the second game, I said "oh shit."  I fully expected to get my ass handed to me, but it was a complete slaughter.  Because I didn't like the guy too much to begin with, I played extra dirty, chain killing the guy over and over again in the second round.

Still not convinced, after the match I nicknamed him "Fakeality" and asked him what kind of fool fakes a known gamer's name and pretends to be him?

......It turned out, that was the real Fatal1ty and he even remembered me

Kind of a fun story I wanted to share....the pic of me gunning him down with the minigun is my new desktop wallpaper hehe :D

I met him in a LAN in melbourne, where I made fun of his hilarious shoes.

Nothing compared to an american flag cape mind you.

I wish I had a video card so I could play UT again. /wah!

Fatal1ty came to Dremhack Winter 2004.

If you beat him at Painkiller, you would win a phat computer, the whole package. But that guy is freaking insane. =P

Altough after a while some guy got him, and the comp...bastard..
