AO Reference Editor source

I'd be surprised if you compiled this thing and it still worked. Fluence was asking about this in guild chat so I said I'd post the source. I'm doing it in General because I don't care who steals this old as dirt program.

This thing would allow you to create your own references in game. Dunno if it would sitll work at all or what it would take to make it work. But here it is for ya. Good luck. :)

Open Kuren's Anarchy Online Colored Text.htm so you can copy/paste them. If you ctrl-c "/pet rename Spot" from the webpage into notepad, you will see that there's hidden ASCII characters. Same thing happens with any of the "will be <color>" text strings.
You can paste these hidden characters into an AO script file, or paste them directly in AO ingame chat.

Am I missing something? You can mimic all this with the HTML tag <font>, only in scripts tho.

TL;DR
AO translates certain ASCII characters to <font color=#HEXHEX>

This is something I made 12 years ago. Things have changed since then. I was just posting the old source zip since someone asked about it. :)
